Welcome to Glenbrook Academy

Glenbrook is a specialized educational community dedicated to supporting students with behavioral, emotional and social needs who may have difficulty in finding success in a traditional school setting.

Our students are individuals with unique strengths, experiences and challenges. Many of our students have Individualized Education Programs (IEP's) and benefit from a more structured, supportive, and individualized educational environment. Some students may have experienced trauma, significant life challenges, mental health concerns, or other barriers that have made attending or succeeding in a traditional school difficult.

At Glenbrook Academy, we believe that every student deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and experience success in school. We provide a safe and supportive environment where students are able to build positive relationships, develop coping and social-emotional skills, and work toward their academic and personal goals.

Our school brings together education, behavioral support, and counseling to address the whole student. Through individualized support, consistent structure, counseling services and caring relationships with staff, we help students understand their strengths, overcome obstacles, and develop the skills they need to move forward.

We recognize that behavior is often a form of communication. Rather than defining students by their challenges, we work to understand what each student needs to feel safe, connected and ready to learn.
